With the Summer ‘23 release, we can now use Salesforce Flow to copy marketing assets between Account Engagement Business Units …
1. Accessing the Account Engagement Business Unit Bulk Asset Copy Flow
– Go to Setup > Flow and select the Account Engagement Bulk Asset Copy Flow
– Note: You may only be able to run the flow in the Flow Builder, not the Lightning Page Flow Component
2. Setting up the Flow
– Select the Source and Destination Business Units
– Choose the assets to copy
– Confirm the assets and select the Folder, Campaign, and Tracker Domain for the new assets
– Click on “Copy Assets”
3. Bulk Asset Copy Confirmation Screen
– Successful copying will display a list of the assets created
– Unsuccessful copying will not display any assets
4. Considerations for Using Business Unit Bulk Asset Copy Flow
– Custom Fields: Only the basic information of the field is copied, other settings are not copied
– Email Templates: The email sender will be replaced by a General User, dynamic content will not copy over, and changes to existing templates may not be reflected in the copied templates
– Files: Only image files were successfully copied during testing, other file types may not copy correctly
5. Additional Notes
– The Bulk Asset Copy Flow is a new feature introduced in the Summer ’23 release
– It is designed specifically for copying assets between Account Engagement Business Units
– Some details and settings may not be copied correctly, so thorough testing is recommended before relying on the copied assets.
