With Event Relay, it’s never been easier to harness the power of event-driven integrations …
Here are highlights from article Event Relay’s New Declarative Tools & Hyperforce Support
1. Event Relay simplifies Salesforce-AWS integration:
– Provides a connection between Salesforce and AWS services without custom code or middleware.
– Subscribes to Platform Events and Change Data Capture events in Salesforce and delivers them to Amazon EventBridge.
2. Expanded support for Hyperforce orgs:
– Event Relay now supports Salesforce orgs hosted in Hyperforce, allowing customers with orgs in Hyperforce or Salesforce Data Centers to use event relays.
3. Point. Click. Integrate.:
– Admins and developers can use Salesforce Setup or the Tooling API to create, manage, and monitor event relays.
– The Event Relays page in Setup displays the list of an org’s event relays with details like status, named credential, and platform event channel.
4. Creating new relays:
– The new Setup experience simplifies the creation of new event relays.
– Admins and developers can configure a relay by selecting a named credential, event channel, and error recovery option.
– Salesforce creates a detail page in Setup and a partner event source in EventBridge for each relay.
5. Start your relay race:
– Event Relays default to a Stopped status, and events are only delivered when the admin or developer is ready to receive them in EventBridge.
– Users need to connect the partner event source to an event bus in the AWS Console to complete the integration.
– Once ready, the status of the relay can be updated to Run.
