1. Introduction to Salesforce flows:
– Salesforce flows are powerful declarative tools in the admin toolkit.
– Flows allow admins to build custom automation in Salesforce triggered by user actions or scheduled events.
2. Button-Action Screen Triggered Flows:
– Button-Action Screen Flows are launched when a user clicks a button.
– Components needed for this type of flow include creating and activating the flow, creating a custom button action, and adding the button to the page layout or Lightning page.
3. Move to New Company flow:
– Automates the process of archiving an old contact and creating a new one when a contact moves to a new company.
– Helps maintain data quality and prevents the user from forgetting any necessary steps.
4. Pre-Closed Won flow:
– Automates the process of notifying sales operations or admins when an opportunity is ready to be moved to “Closed Won”.
– Allows sales reps to easily indicate that an opportunity is ready for processing.
5. Pause this Opportunity flow:
– Allows users to put work on an opportunity on hold without marking it as “Closed Lost”.
– Useful for situations where work needs to be temporarily paused but the opportunity is still active.
